Lány sportautó múzeum - Lány sports car museum

Ma érdekes dolgokat nyomozgattam.
Van egy pali a dmctalkon, Dangermouse, aki adatokat gyűjt a múzeumban levő Deloreanokról.

Az este írt nekem pár sort és arra kért nyomozzam ki a Lány-ban levő sportautó múzeumban milyen VIN számú autó van.

Lány Csehországban található, nem messze Prágától. Amúgy itt van a cseh elnökök rezidenciája nyáron, az első cseh elnök, Masaryk kedvenc helye.

Emailre vagy nem válaszoltak, vagy rossz, ezt soha nem tudjuk meg.
Viszont telefonon sikerült elérnem őket, és harmadszorra megtalálnom az illetékest, aki smsben elküldte a VIN számot:863

Amúgy nagyon segítőkészek voltak, ezt meg kell hagyni.
Ez egy korai darab, de nem annyira mint az enyém, de ez is gasflap-es.

Valamikor a közeljövőben tervezek egy utat ide, akkor majd jól körbejárom az autót, de a többit sem hagyom ki :)

Deloreans in museums

Today I had a rather interesting day.

Dangermouse contacted me last night from dmctalk forums, asking me to find out VIN number of a Delorean located in Lány sports Car museum.

The museum is located in the village of Lany.

Little history : The castle in that village is the summer seat of the Presidents of the Czech Republic. The first president of the Czech Republic, Tomas Garrigue Masaryk, considered Lany his home and spent many moments of both work and rest there.

As Dangermouse told me, nobody reacted on his email, or the email address was wrong, I called them today.

They have been very helpful, and the third person managed to give the information what I wanted.

The car in the museum has VIN:863

This is an early model, with gas flap, but not as early as mine though :)

Sometimes in the near future I plan a visit to this museum, and I will make detailed photos about this car, and of course I will not forget about the rest :)

Ezután igyekszem leírni a fontosabb történéseket angolul is, a hibákért elnézést kérek előre is.

Most vettem észre, hogy nincs fent a képgaléria az autórol, azaz mi alapján vettem meg az autót.

Semmi újdonság + Eurofest 2011

Nyúlfarkyni hírem van az autóról: csütörtökön, március 11-én kihajózott Miamiból, és útban van Rotterdam felé.

A kinti szállító közben költözik, így nem tudjuk elérni a pontos konténer szám miatt, így nem tudom követni épp merre jár a hajó.

Mindennap próbálkozunk, de eddig nem jártunk sikerrel.

Update: nemrég kaptam meg a tracking számot

Sajnos sokminden nem derül ki belőle, többre számítottam...

Még nem is láttam az autót, de egy dolog fix: 2010 március 31-ig el kell készülnie, hogy legyen időm tesztelni a Nagy Út előtt.

A Nagy Út jövőre esedékes, akkor lesz a Eurofest Belfastban, Írországban, az összes Deloreanos Mekkája.

Ez az esemény pont a Delorean 30. szülinapjára esik, így ez egy különleges esemény az autók életében, elérik az oldtimer kórt. Így azután Magyarországon már nem kell regisztrációs adót fizetni, könnyebben forgalomba helyezhetőek az autók, igaz csak tökéletes állapotban.
Amúgy ez engem nem érint, mivel nem lesz magyar rendszám az autón.

Az Eurofest 2011 május 26-29 között lesz.
Jelenleg nincs sokkal több infó, a regisztráció sem kezdődött meg.

Just a short post about my car, the ship left from Miami on 13th of March.
The shipping company in Miami was moving to different address, so I couldn't reach him for the container number, but finally I got through so I have the tracking number. See the screenshot.

I don't know how long it will take to restore my car, but one thing is sure: DMC Eurofest in Belfast Northern Ireland, in May 2011 (26.05-29.05.2011)

So in order to make it there, the car has to be ready latest until 31 st of March 2011, so I can test it, arrange licence plate etc. I hope that it will be OK for such a long road. The distance from home to Belfast is over 2500 km.

Útrakészen

Ma kaptam képet a becsomagolt autómról, ahogy várakozik a behajózásra, ami csütörtökön lesz.Sid nagyon sokat leolvasott erről a képről, meghagyom neki az örömet, hogy leírja ezeket.

A hajó kb 5-6 hét alatt ér Rotterdam-be, onnan még pár nap amíg az autó Pestre ér.

Tehát ha minden jól megy április közepén személyesen is találkozhatom az autóval :)

Ezentől nem fog semmi történni, viszont nagyon unalmas és idegtépő időszak következik :)

Nagyon remélem, hogy rendben megérkezik.

Today i got this photo about my car, packed in a container. Sailing will be from Miami to Rotterdam, Europe and the ship will leave port of Miami Thursday.

Sid (the other Delorean owner from Hungary) read me many things from this photo, but I will leave him the pleasure to write about these things in his blog.

The ship will sail for about 5-6 weeks till gets to Rotterdam, and from there a few more days until it gets to Budapest.
So if everything goes as planned, I will meet my car sometimes late April.

So the next few weeks will be quiet, with nothing really to write about.

I hope I will get my car in order, and nothing will happen during shipment.
